ANTELOPE CANYON TOURS

TOUR PERMIT FEATURES PRICE
Upper Antelope Canyon Navajo Tribal permit $6 per person, ages 8 and up. Children 5 and under free. Come with your guide to a spectacular petrified sand dune, created by wind, water and time, presenting a sculptured masterpiece. Nothing can describe this work of Mother Nature. Experiencing this beauty will leave you breathless. Trips are approximately one hour long and you will travel in comfort in a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Adults $25.00 per person. Children (ages 5-11) $10.00.
Photography Tour Enjoy photography in one of the most photographed places in the southwest. Due to new regulations, tours are only 2 hours long. For more information contact me. Rates: $40 per person

Tour #1: The Upper Antelope Tour

The Guided Tour is a wonderful way to experience this awesome natural wonder of Upper Antelope Canyon. The tour starts by boarding a 4x4 truck that transports you comfortably to the mouth of the Antelope Canyon. Your Navajo Guide will take you on a easy journey through the canyon stopping in areas that are popular for photos and also sharing the Navajo Cultural stories about the canyon. This tour is very informative, sharing the history and geology of the canyon. The tour last about 1 hour in the canyon.



Tour #2: The Photographer's Tour

Tour #2

The Photo Tour is longer in time giving a photographer a better chance of making photos in the canyon. Your Navajo Guide will show you the most popular places in the canyon for photo opportunities. This tour is for 2 hours in the canyon. A Photo Tour can be done anytime of the day in the morning hours are 9am to 11pm, you will have nice light throughout the canyon with less people around. The afternoon 10am to 1pm is when the sun is highest above the canyon giving it maximum light conditions, but this is the time that the canyon receives the famours light beams. This is the most popular time of the day, many people in the canyon. Th late afternoon 1pm to 5pm has soft colors with nice photos made in the entrance area of the canyon. By this time the crowds are much smaller and the canyon is more spiritual and relaxing.



Departure Times

On the top of the hour starting 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Mountain Standard Time daily All tours subject to availability and weather conditions. Departure times may vary with the season.

Departure Time is every 2 hour on the hour starting at 8am to 4pm. The best time is the 10am and 12pm. The canyon is very popular now and the canyon could be crowded. A less crowded tour would be your 8am, 2pmand 4pm. The light is good throughout the day in the canyon.

Reservations are not needed just show up and we will help you. Arrive early for the tour of your choice like 30 minutes. If you are a large group (20 to 60) we can arrange reservations for your group.

Location is 3 miles east of Page, AZ off of Highway 98 on the Navajo Reservation. We call it the Antelope Canyon Navajo Tribal Park. Things to look out for small buildings, flag poles, parked vehicles, and yellow gates at the entrance.
